This is a tournament designed to determine which of our 8 gym leaders will become members of the Elite 4 of the Shoddy League.

All matches must either take place on the Official Server or the Smogon Server

The rules in effect for each battle (when challenging someone check off these boxes in the challenge window)

Also, no Ubers may be used, and I assume all of you are familiar with what are classified as "uber" Pokemon. Additionally, should a tie take place by one opponent using Explosion, SelfDestruct, or Destiny Bond when each have 1 remaining Pokemon that match will be declared as a tie and the two players will replay the match again to determine the winner. While I do not expect this to happen I've been involved in tournaments where someone has lied about who has won. That is why I ask you save your battle logs should a dispute arise between two competitors so it can be resolved quickly and easily.

Each player is only allowed to use 1 type of Pokemon that they agreed to when they signed up for a particular gym type in the First Round. This will change slightly in the coming rounds but in round 1 only one type is to be used by a competitor.

For the first initial match ups are tried to keep the type efficacy in mind so no unfair match ups would be present.

The top 6 in this matchup will move onto round 2. After the first set of matches are completely the 4 losers will go into a loser bracket and the top 2 out of that bracket will proceed to the next round.
