80 power 100% Accurate vs 100 power 80% accurate

I'm sure we've all been in this dilemna before.... Both of you are on your last pokémon. If you don't kill him this turn, you loose... (FICTIONAL EXAMPLE BTW) You have the choice between 2 attacks... one with 80 Power, 100% Accurate, but you're not sure if it'll kill it... But you have this other attack, 100 Power, 80% accurate. If it hits, it'll kill it for sure!

Would you take the risk of using the attack with 80 Power, 100% Accurate, or 100 Power, 80% accurate?

I'll take the 100% accuarcy and 80 power because of crit hax!

Yeaaaaah.... <.< Not exactly what I meant... it's just that I've already asked that question once, and it ended in a big argue, so my qestion never was truly answered... XP

I would take 100 power 80 accuracy cause 80 isnt that bad so most likely its going to hit and with more damage

Really it depends on the speed of the pokemon I was facing. One that I think is MUCH slower than mine - the 80 accuracy. Anything where I think the speed is within like 20 Speed I wouldn't risk it - go for the 100 Accuracy.
So really it depends on how lucky you think you are

Do a damage calculation and find out which move will pull it out for you and whether or not they will OHKO you with their respective move. That's how I'd solve it.

Focus Punch is a terrible attack! when I used it the other player would allways hit me and when i didn't use it they would rais the stats on itself...

Thats why people use sub punching Breloom.

I have seen that in use and it ok, but i still wouldn,t use it

It can work in one of two ways.
1) You have a substitute up, so you know you cannot be hit.
2) You predict a switch (usually to Blissey) and use Focus Punch!
